マタイ/ 09章 18-26 節 - Voir Matthieu 918-26 - See Matthew 9 18-26
| Aujourd’hui [1], nous fêtons Maria Goretti, vierge et martyre. Elle a été assassinée à douze ans et ces douze ans font écho dans l’Évangile aux douze ans de la jeune fille et aux douze années de maladie de la femme mûre. | Today [2], we celebrate the virgin and martyr Maria Goretty. A twelve-ear old girl, she was murdered and these twelve years echo the twelve years of the young girl and the twelve years of illness of the mature woman in the Gospel. |
| Au contact de Jésus, le sang de la femme mûre qui s’écoulait de manière maladive se remet à circuler normalement et le sang de la jeune fille qui avait cessé de circuler se remet à couler : | The young girl’s blood had stopped flowing but Jesus touched her and the blood flowed again. The mature woman’s blood was flowing too much but the blood loss was stopped when she touched Jesus. |
| Jésus qui fait circuler le sang, Jésus qui fait circuler la vie d’ici-bas, Jésus le thérapeute. C’est beau et c’est bien. | Jesus is the one who circulates the blood and the life in this world, Jesus as a therapist. Nice and good. |
| Mais ces guérisons servent avant tout de signes pour renvoyer à un niveau plus élevé, plus grand. Car il y a plus et mieux. Il y a la vie éternelle, la vie en Dieu. Il y a le sang du Christ, versé pour nous et pour la multitude, en rémission des péchés. Il y a Jésus le Sauveur. | Yet these healigns serve above all as signs referring to something higher and bigger. Because there is something nicer and better : the eternal life, the life in God. There is the blood of Christ which was shed for us and the many, for the forgiveness of the sins. There is Jesus the Saviour. |
| Maria Goretti a vu son sang s’écouler de ses blessures pendant la nuit et elle est morte le lendemain. Mais elle n’a pas cédé à la haine, à la rancœur, au désir de vengeance. Elle a pardonné à son meurtrier à cause de Jésus Christ. | Maria Goretti bled to death during the night and she died the day later. But she did not give way to hatred, to resentment, to the desire of vengeance. She forgave her murderer for Jesus Christ’s sake. |
| Maria Goretti n’est pas saine et sauve, elle est plus que cela : elle est sainte et sauvée. | Marie Goretti is not whole and sound, she is more than that : she is holy and saint |

| イエスがこれらのことを話しておられると、一人の指導者が来て、ひれ伏して言った。「私の娘がたった今死にました。でも、お出でになって手を置いてやってください。そうすれば、生き返るでしょう。」 | 18 Comme il leur parlait ainsi, voici qu’un notable s’approcha et, prosterné, il lui disait : « Ma fille est morte à l’instant ; mais viens lui imposer la main, et elle vivra. » | !8 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead : but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. |
| そこで、イエスは立ち上がり、彼に付いて行かれた。弟子たちも一緒だった。 | 19 S’étant levé, Jésus le suivait avec ses disciples. | 19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. |
| すると、十二年間も出血が止まらない女が近寄って来て、後ろからイエスの衣の裾に触れた。 | 20 Or une femme, souffrant d’hémorragie depuis douze ans, s’approcha par-derrière et toucha la frange de son vêtement. | 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment : |
| 「この方の衣に触れさえすれば治していただける」と思ったからである。 | 21 Elle se disait : « Si j’arrive seulement à toucher son vêtement, je serai sauvée. » | 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. |
| イエスは振り向いて、この女を見て言われた。「娘よ、元気を出しなさい。あなたの信仰があなたを治した。」その時、女は治った。 | 22 Mais Jésus, se retournant et la voyant, dit : « Confiance, ma fille ! Ta foi t’a sauvée. » Et la femme fut sauvée dès cette heure-là. | 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort ; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. |
| それからイエスは、指導者の家に着き、笛を吹く者たちや騒いでいる群衆を見て | 23 À son arrivée à la maison du notable, voyant les joueurs de flûte et l’agitation de la foule, Jésus dit : | 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, |
| 言われた。「あちらへ行きなさい。少女は死んだのではない。眠っているのだ。」人々はイエスを嘲笑った。 | 24 « Retirez-vous : elle n’est pas morte, la fillette, elle dort. » Et ils se moquaient de lui. | 24 He said unto them, Give place : for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. |
| 群衆を外に出すと、イエスは中に入り、少女の手をお取りになった。すると、少女は起き上がった。 | 25 Quand on eut mis la foule dehors, il entra, prit la main de l’enfant et la fillette se réveilla. | 25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. |
| この噂はその地方一帯に広まった。 | 26 La nouvelle s’en répandit dans toute cette région. | 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. |
