| « Il y a ici plus grand que le Temple » dit Jésus dans l’Évangile d’aujourd’hui [1]. | « That in this place is one greater than the temple » says Jesus in toyday [2]’s Gospel. |
| Il y a un espace sacré autour de Jésus dans lequel les lois ordinaires, les lois de l’extérieur ne s’appliquent pas quand on est prêtre ou roi – et l’Église est un peuple de prêtres, de rois - il faudrait ajouter de prophètes. | There is a sacred place around Jesus where the laws outside don’t apply when you are a king or a priest – and the Church is a people of kings, priests – and it should added of prophets. |
| Cet espace sacré qui se déploie à partir de Jésus, Jésus l’appelle le Royaume de Dieu. | This holy and sacred space which unfolds from Jesus, Jesus calls it the Kingdom of God. |
| Ce Royaume de Dieu n’est pas une zone de non-droit où le plus fort se croit au-dessus des lois universelles de la morale humaine et donne libre cours à ses appétits déréglées. | It is not a zone of lawlessness where the strongest think they are above the universal laws of the human morality and give free reins to their disordered appetites. |
| Non, le Royaume de Dieu est une zone où s’exerce à plein le droit de Dieu. | Not, it is a zone where the right of God reaches its full extent. |
| Jésus est celui qui est venu établir le droit de Dieu sur la terre et cela l’a amené sur la croix. | Jesus is the one chosen by God to establish His right upon the earth and it led him to the cross. |
| Le disciple du Christ aura sans doute à être lui aussi transpercé – transpercé par les fautes des hommes, à commencer par les siennes – et à recevoir à partir de là la miséricorde de Dieu pour la rayonner sur ses proches. | The disciple of Christ will have undoubtedly to be pierced too – by his faults and the faults of men – so that he can receive God’s mercy and radiate it upon his companions. |

Matthieu 12,1-8 - Matthew 12:1-8
| そのころ、ある安息日にイエスは麦畑を通られた。弟子たちは空腹になったので、麦の穂を摘んで食べ始めた。 | En ce temps-là, un jour de sabbat, Jésus vint à passer à travers des champs de blé. Ses disciples eurent faim et se mirent à arracher des épis et à les manger. | At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn ; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. |
| ファリサイ派の人々がこれを見て、イエスに、「御覧なさい。あなたの弟子たちは、安息日にしてはならないことをしている」と言った。 | 2 Voyant cela, les Pharisiens lui dirent : « Vois tes disciples qui font ce qu’il n’est pas permis de faire pendant le sabbat. » | 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. |
| そこで、イエスは言われた。「ダビデが自分も供の者たちも空腹だったときに何をしたか、読んだことがないのか。 | 3 Il leur répondit : « N’avez-vous pas lu ce que fit David, lorsqu’il eut faim, lui et ses compagnons, | 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him ; |
| 神の家に入り、ただ祭司のほかには、自分も供の者たちも食べてはならない供えのパンを食べたではないか。 | 4 comment il est entré dans la maison de Dieu et comment ils ont mangé les pains de l’offrande, que ni lui, ni ses compagnons n’avaient le droit de manger, mais seulement les prêtres ? | 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests ? |
| 安息日に神殿にいる祭司は、安息日の掟を破っても罪にならない、と律法にあるのを読んだことがないのか。 | 5 Ou n’avez-vous pas lu dans la Loi que, le jour du sabbat, dans le temple, les prêtres profanent le sabbat sans être en faute ? | 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless ? |
| 言っておくが、神殿よりも偉大なものがここにある。 | 6 Or, je vous le déclare, il y a ici plus grand que le temple. | 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. |
| もし、『わたしが求めるのは憐れみであって、いけにえではない』という言葉の意味を知っていれば、あなたたちは罪もない人たちをとがめなかったであろう。 | 7 Si vous aviez compris ce que signifie : C’est la miséricorde que je veux, non le sacrifice, vous n’auriez pas condamné ces hommes qui ne sont pas en faute. | 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. |
| 人の子は安息日の主なのである。」 | 8 Car il est maître du sabbat, le Fils de l’homme. » | 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. |
