Voir Marc 1,29-39 - Mark 1:29-39

Jésus est insaisissable. Jesus is elusive.
À Capharnaüm, on voulait bien assurer à Jésus une rente à vie : avoir à disposition un guérisseur et un exorciste de cette classe, c’était quand même bien pratique. In Capernaum, they wanted to assure Jesus a life annuity : having a healer and an exorcist of such a class available would have been s convenient.
Seulement voilà, quand on a voulu mettre la main sur lui, il était déjà parti. The trouble is, he was already gone when they tried to put their hands on him.
Dans le désert près de la montagne, on voulait bien faire de Jésus un roi : quelqu’un capable de nourrir toute une foule à partir de deux pains et trois poissons, cela valait le coup de le prendre pour chef. In the desert near the mountain, they wanted to make Jesus a king : someone capable of feeding a whole crowd from two loaves of bread and three fish, it was worth taking him for leader.
Seulement voilà, quand on a voulu mettre la main sur lui, il était déjà parti. The trouble is, he was already gone when they tried to put their hands on him.
Mes amis, l’Évangile d’aujourd’hui nous demande d’élargir notre ambition à celle de Jésus. My friends, today’s Gospel asks us to broaden our ambition to that of Jesus.
Relever la belle-mère de Pierre accablée par la fièvre, cela ne suffit pas à Jésus. Ce qu’il veut, c’est relever la Création tout entière accablée par le péché et de la mort. Raising Peter’s mother-in-law overwhelmed with fever was not enough for Jesus. He wanted to raise up the entire Creation overwhelmed by sin and death.
Rassasier une foule avec du pain et du poisson, cela ne suffit pas à Jésus. Ce qu’il veut, c’est donner son corps et son sang à manger à toutes les nations. Satisfying a crowd with bread and fish was not enough for Jesus. He wanted to give his body and blood to all nations to eat.
- Seigneur Jésus, d’où te vient pareille ambition ?
- Elle me vient de mon amour pour le Père, qui me fait vouloir ce que lui veut.
– Et que veut ton Père ?
– Ce qu’il veut depuis l’origine du monde : une création belle et bonne qui danse de joie de se savoir aimée par Lui. Alors il m’a envoyé.		 - Lord Jesus, where does such ambition come from ?
– It comes to me from my love for the Father, who makes me want what he wants.
– And what does your Father want ?
– What he has wanted from the beginning of the world : a beautiful and good Creation that dances with joy in knowing that it is loved by Him. So he sent me.
Mes amis, en aimant Jésus, nous entrons dans l’amour qui l’unit à son Père et nous aussi, nous éprouverons sa sainte ambition. My friends, when loving Jesus, we enter into the love which unites him to his Father and we too will experience his holy ambition.
Elle sera un feu qui brûlera nos cœurs aux désirs trop mesquins, aux vues trop courtes. En avant avec Jésus. It will be a fire that will burn our hearts with too petty desires, too short-sighted views. Forward with Jesus.

Mark 1:29-39

すぐに、一行は会堂を出て、シモンとアンデレの家に行った。ヤコブとヨハネも一緒であった。 29 Juste en sortant de la synagogue, ils allèrent, avec Jacques et Jean, dans la maison de Simon et d’André. 29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
シモンのしゅうとめが熱を出して寝ていたので、人々は早速、彼女のことをイエスに話した。 30 Or la belle-mère de Simon était couchée, elle avait de la fièvre ; aussitôt on parle d’elle à Jésus. 30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
イエスがそばに行き、手を取って起こされると、熱は去り、彼女は一同をもてなした。 31 Il s’approcha et la fit lever en lui prenant la main : la fièvre la quitta et elle se mit à les servir. 31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up ; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
夕方になって日が沈むと、人々は、病人や悪霊に取りつかれた者を皆、イエスのもとに連れて来た。 32 Le soir venu, après le coucher du soleil, on se mit à lui amener tous les malades et les démoniaques. 32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
町中の人が、戸口に集まった。 33 La ville entière était rassemblée à la porte. 33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.
イエスは、いろいろな病気にかかっている大勢の人たちをいやし、また、多くの悪霊を追い出して、悪霊にものを言うことをお許しにならなかった。悪霊はイエスを知っていたからである。 34 Il guérit de nombreux malades souffrant de maux de toutes sortes et il chassa de nombreux démons ; et il ne laissait pas parler les démons, parce que ceux-ci le connaissaient. 34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils ; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
朝早くまだ暗いうちに、イエスは起きて、人里離れた所へ出て行き、そこで祈っておられた。 35 Au matin, à la nuit noire, Jésus se leva, sortit et s’en alla dans un lieu désert ; là, il priait. 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
シモンとその仲間はイエスの後を追い、 36 Simon se mit à sa recherche, ainsi que ses compagnons, 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.
見つけると、「みんなが捜しています」と言った。 37 et ils le trouvèrent. Ils lui disent : « Tout le monde te cherche. » 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.
イエスは言われた。「近くのほかの町や村へ行こう。そこでも、わたしは宣教する。そのためにわたしは出て来たのである。」 38 Et il leur dit : « Allons ailleurs, dans les bourgs voisins, pour que j’y proclame aussi l’Évangile : car c’est pour cela que je suis sorti. » 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also : for therefore came I forth.
そして、ガリラヤ中の会堂に行き、宣教し、悪霊を追い出された。 39 Et il alla par toute la Galilée ; il prêchait dans leurs synagogues et chassait les démons. 39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.
