Furanku est la prononciation japonaise de Franck. L’auteur est religieux, chrétien catholique. Converti au Christ en 1986, il a fait profession religieuse en 2001. Ingénieur de formation, Il a travaillé pendant 15 ans dans le monde de l’informatique et de la banque, comme méthodologue. Il a été ordonné prêtre. Il vient de soutenir (avec succès) son Master à l’Institut de Science et Théologie des Religions de l’Institut Catholique, avec spécialisation dans le bouddhisme japonais de la Terre Pure.
